Soldier in brig for late night grocery store raid

A need for cash rather than the munchies prompted a 33-year-old RCAF soldier to break into a grocery shop on Saturday.

Police said the suspect attempted to come through the roof of the Sen Sok district establishment only to find himself eye-to-eye with the torch-wielding shopkeep.

He took off, but was arrested shortly thereafter by police, who confiscated three watches, two mobile phones and a motorbike. Kampuchea Thmey
