Souped up motos on exhibit at police station

Phnom Penh police this month pounced on people who made prohibited modifications to their motorbikes, particularly loud exhaust pipes.

During a 10-day raid which started on September 1, officers from Sen Sok district seized 104 motorbikes that violated vehicle standards because of excessive noise, laser lights or a lack of number plates.

The confiscated bikes were displayed yesterday at the district police station.
