If the police can’t catch your moto thief fast enough, an angry mob is sometimes the next best option.

Two men learned that the hard way after being chased down and cornered as they allegedly attempted to steal a motorcycle in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district.

The two men, 30 and 31, rode off on the bike but were chased by the owner’s oddly relentless neighbours for about a kilometre.

After being caught, the pair was slapped and punched repeatedly by the no-doubt winded mob before being handed over to police.
