Speedy steal turns into a long-distance chase

Police said several people successfully chased a moto thief on Wednesday all the way from Takeo province to Phnom Penh.

The alleged theft started in Takeo province’s Tramkork district, when a woman parked her bike by the side of the road to harvest grass.

A man stole it, but he was quickly followed by a gang of the woman’s supporters, who trailed him to the city, where the woman’s husband, in touch by phone, came out of nowhere and pushed him off the bike. Police showed up and arrested the man. NOKORWAT
