A spittle spat sparks sparring among pals

Six men let saliva get in the way of friendship in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday.

The group were chugging some brews but the pleasantries were marred by one chap’s continual spitting, to the considerable irritation of four of his companions.

Their verbal sparring over the social niceties of saliva soon turned violent, leaving all slightly worse for wear once villagers intervened to end their spirited spittle debate.
