SR cops hit ‘blackjack’ with gambling bust

Getting together for a bit of a flutter seems an eternally popular pursuit, but a taste for gambling resulted in 21 individuals in Siem Reap town finding themselves on the wrong side of the law on Saturday.

Four of those detained owned a house raided by police because it was being used to host a homespun lottery game.

The owners of the property were arrested, but the remaining 17 players were sent home by police after they had been “educated”.
