A 38-year-old Kratie woman may not exactly have been stealing candy from a baby when she was arrested on Saturday, but she was stealing something far more valuable from a toddler.

Police say that a young girl, 3, was walking with her grandmother to the local pagoda for a Pchum Ben ceremony when the woman ran past and snatched a necklace the toddler was wearing, causing her to fall over and hit her head. The woman was quickly apprehended by local residents. Deum Ampil
