Stealing more lucrative, capital scavenger finds

A recycler got a savaging after “salvaging” the phone of a worker at a cement warehouse in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Friday.

The 22-year-old apparently entered the warehouse while on his rounds, when workers caught wind of his sticky-fingered visit, chased him out, took back the phone, and beat him down in the street.

The suspect reportedly confessed to police that he committed the offence, saying he did not make enough money to live on. KOH SANTEPHEAP
