Sticks and stones break bones, ruin dance party

Revenge is a dish best served mid-party, or apparently so thought several alleged brawlers in Kampong Chhnang’s Rolea Ba’ier district on Wednesday.

According to police, five men were dancing at a village party when a marauding group of local men swooped in and fell upon them with sticks and stones.

The attackers fled, leaving three of the five victims badly injured. Police are still searching for the suspects, whom they believe were motivated by a grudge. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
