Sticks and stones may … well, you know the rhyme

Words weren’t needed to hurt a group of young men who were out partying in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district in the early hours yesterday.

Instead, five attackers chased down the three men – aged 22 to 23 – resorting to sticks and stones to make their point.

One victim was badly injured while his pals got away with only bruises and scrapes. The attackers fled, but police suspect the incident was a revenge attack. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
