Stolen moto returned but trust issues remain

Further demonstrating that the old “borrowed moto” scam is the oldest trick in the book, a construction worker in Prey Veng province was arrested after allegedly selling his fellow worker’s motorbike for $150 and pocketing the profits after claiming that he wanted to borrow the vehicle to buy something from the market at Preah Sdech district.

His poor pal ultimately decided to file a complaint with the police, who later apprehended the suspect.

The motorbike was returned, but the trust was surely broken.
