Stormy waters ahead after man steals boat

A famer and his wife will be investing in a padlock after a man tried to steal and sell their motorboat earlier this week.

The couple parked their boat behind their Kampong Chhnang home, and not long after a 40-year-old opportunist took off with it.

Before the suspect could locate a buyer, the wife’s brother spotted the boat and called police to intervene.

The man was charged at court on Saturday, and the couple was advised to get a lock. Koh Santepheap
