Stove burns too strong, destroys vendor’s stall

A vendor's clumsiness led to the fiery destruction of his stall in Battambang on Tuesday when his buttery fingers hit a gasoline bottle beside him, causing the fuel to spill into his wooden stove.

The ensuing blaze resulted in the loss of items and cash that amounted to $1,100.

Fortunately, houses adjacent to the accident scene were spared by firefighters who arrived to put out the fire.
