Student takes a bullet from bike thieves

A university student in Kampong Cham will not be hitting the books for some time after a pair of moto thieves shot her in the leg on Tuesday.

Police said the victim, who is recovering in hospital, was riding her moto back from school to work on an assignment when the pair demanded she stop.

Bravely, or stupidly, she didn’t, and they shot her in the leg before making off with the bike. Police are looking for the suspects. Koh Santepheap
