Students shut the gate on would-be thief’s plan

A Kandal construction worker got an “F” for planning after an attempted moto theft at a local high school on Saturday.

Police said the man had been eyeing the bike for several days, making his move when the owner, who was training to be a teacher, left the moto unattended.

The suspect acted quickly but not quickly enough. After a cry for help went up, fast-thinking students locked the gate, trapping the would-be thief inside. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
