Successful moto thief fails second run around

A man's successful motorbike robbery ended up his undoing last week as the ease of the crime left him greedy for more.

Police said the man stole a bike at a Stung Treng town market on Monday, replaced the licence plate and netted a cool $600 for it in Sesan district.

With all the money gone just three days later, he went back to the well, this time grabbing a moto belonging to a local NGO staffer then hiding it in his apartment while trying to sell it.

But the hunt for a buyer tipped off cops, who busted in on Saturday. NOKORWAT
