Suspect axes Saturday plans, takes revenge

While others were carving up the dance floor on Saturday, one man decided he would do a little carving up of those on it.

A villager, 22, fell victim to this man’s anger when he was hacked in the neck with a cleaver – an attack that left him in hospital.

The suspect fled the scene but was arrested the next day. Police soon discovered he had previously been the target of violence himself from some of the victim’s friends.

Officers described his decision to take revenge, however, as “jungle law”. DEUM AMPIL
