Suspect takes cops on a trip down memory lane

Cops, like elephants, never forget, especially when a criminal reminds them himself. Such was the lesson learned by a suspect arrested for a past crime in Kampong Speu’s Odong district on Wednesday.

Police said the man allegedly assaulted an ice cream vendor in 2010. He spent four years in hiding before coming home, where police spotted him going to a police station to have an ID made. Once arrested, the man admitted to thinking the police had simply forgotten. NOKORWAT
