Two women, one badly injured, are recovering in hospital after an encounter with a quartet of thuggish teens on Saturday in the capital’s Chamkarmon district.

Police said the two victims were riding home that evening when two pairs of teens on motos came alongside to execute a clumsy bag snatch that sent the women tumbling to the pavement.

All four suspects managed to escape, though police have a strong lead in the form of a licence number secured by witnesses.
