Suspects out to chop more than papayas

Some fruit vendors, unfortunately, aren’t so lucky, with a papaya seller badly injured in a cleaver attack in Tbong Khmum town on Tuesday night.

The vendor was driving his moto when three people blocked his way and hacked him in the head and back with a cleaver before escaping.

The man was hospitalised and police are still looking for the suspects. The motive for the attack remains unknown, though police suggested that the assailants were out for revenge.
