S’ville hit-and-run puts soldier in the hospital

A soldier was left with a broken back after a rubbish truck slammed into the motorbike he was riding in Sihanoukville on Sunday.

The official was heading westward when the truck hit him from behind, causing a crash so serious it left the truck upside down. The truck driver escaped on a motorbike taxi before police could arrive at the scene.

The truck and the bike were taken as evidence and the soldier was rushed to hospital. KOH SANTEPHEAP
