S’ville man will need phone to call lawyer

An unemployed man was arrested for allegedly stealing a mobile phone on Monday night in Sihanoukville.

Police said the man, 21, snuck into a house and saw the phone, snatching it and escaping.

But the sharp-eyed homeowner, 30, spotted the alleged thief from the kitchen and called for help.

Police quickly intervened and caught the man, who confessed that he wanted to sell the phone for money as he was out of work.
