Sweet smell of success eludes market thieves

Security guards in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district market smelled a rat on Monday. When two men tried to snatch a couple of boxes of perfume from a vendor they were quickly apprehended by the vigilant guards who handed them over to police.

The alleged thieves maintain that they stole the fragrances to sell, not for personal use. They were charged and sent to court. Koh Santepheap
