Target of bag-snatching kicks suspects to kerb

Chasing down a motorbike on foot might be difficult, but that need not be a problem if you send the driver’s face into the gravel before he can get away.

When two robbers on a moto made the mistake on Tuesday of targeting a high school student with a low tolerance for being pushed around, they paid the price.

Police said the pair rode up to the girl, 17, and snatched her bag. She sent a flying kick into the moto, knocking it over and leaving the dazed robbers lying helpless on the road until police arrived. KOH SANTEPHEAP
