Given the rate of petty theft cropping up in the blotter on a daily basis, it’s unlikely police in Kampong Cham province will have much sympathy for this teenage victim – or much chance of catching the crooks.

The 17-year-old girl was found outside a local police station in tears on Sunday morning, complaining that thieves had broken into her moto and stolen $50.

Police said she should file a complaint and they would “look forward” to making arrests.
