Teenage angst turns to night in the jailhouse

A Kandal man hoped to win his aunt and uncle’s affection on Sunday by destroying their property in a fit of rage.

Angry that the couple had refused to allow him to live with them, the suspect allegedly came to their house, destroyed a TV, broke some kitchen supplies and generally smashed up the place.

Police arrived on the scene and provided the incensed nephew with a place to stay – the local lockup. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
