Test-driving bike thief caught at beer garden

A 36-year-old man attempting to sell his Scoopy was duped on Friday when a buyer took the moto for a test drive and never came back.

The victim was staying at a guesthouse in Phnom Penh when the suspect said he wanted to test the power of the engine, only to watch the alleged thief drive off into the distance.

On Saturday, the victim spotted the man drinking at a beer garden in Chamkarmon district and called the police who detained the man for questioning.
