A Chinese national was lucky not to cause more destruction after crashing her car in the capital’s Chamkarmon district on Monday.

The woman became distracted by her mobile phone while driving, causing her to crash into road barriers, where her journey came to an end, her car firmly lodged in between the mangled dividers until police confiscated it.

While no one was injured, the woman might think twice before checking her messages behind the wheel.
