A stolen wallet proved worth a small fortune for a pair of small-time crooks in Kampong Cham town on Monday.

Police said the duo had planted themselves near a dining couple at a restaurant, then grabbed a wallet they had sitting on the table and ran when the opportunity presented itself.

Inside was a whopping $4,000. Unfortunately for our crooks, only half the team escaped with the booty, while the other was tackled by restaurant security. Police are on the lookout for the wallet-bearer. DEUM AMPIL
