Battambang Provincal Police pulled through for a part-time politician when they recovered his stolen motorbike after a few months of research into the case.

The victim, who authorities say does double duty as assistant commune chief and moto mechanic, reported his moped missing in Ratanakkiri province earlier this year.

Cops zeroed in on the suspect on Saturday, arresting him in Kachanh commune before bringing the bike back to its owner for a long-awaited reunion.
