Thief gets double-dose of literal street justice

A bag snatcher got a large serving of tarmac with a side of mob justice after a bungled motorbike getaway in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Saturday.

The man, 22, apparently grabbed the bag from a pair of foreigners while riding with an accomplice. But when the driver put his foot down to escape, a car got in the way, sending the snatcher sprawling.

The driver sped off without waiting for his friend, who was encircled and knocked around by witnesses, before eventually being handed over to law enforcement officers. NOKORWAT
