Thief hiding in closet is quickly found by police

A young burglar’s nascent life of crime came to a quick and ignominious end on Saturday after he was caught hiding in a family’s closet.

Police said the 19-year-old made his move only minutes after a Dangkor district family had left for a trip to the provinces.

Unfortunately for him, a nosy neighbour saw the move and called the family, who promptly turned the car around and came back.

When they saw their door ajar, they simply called police, who found the suspect cowering in the closet. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
