Thief in jail before he could spend the money

A notorious snatcher was apprehended on Monday in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district, after police received a flurry of complaints of pilfering.

The suspect, 24, most recently targeted a man as he waited at a traffic light, grabbing a wallet stuffed with $210, as well as some documents.

After getting the call about the incident, cops managed to nab the thief within an hour and sent him to court on Tuesday. KOH SANTEPHEAP
