Taking the high ground didn’t help an alleged thief in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Monday.

According to police, a local resident came home to find his house in shambles and some jewellery missing.

As he was leaving to spread the word, the suspect, 18, was spotted hiding on the roof of his house by a group of neighbourhood residents.

Stranded, the man was arrested by police, who found a ring and a necklace on him. DEUM AMPIL
