Thief made it personal for K Chhnang copper

Two men were arrested in Kampong Chhnang’s Samaki Meanchey district on Saturday for the bold crime of stealing a cop’s motorbike.

A couple of weeks ago, the policeman, also a farmer, had gone to visit his rice fields when a 23-year-old jumped on his bike and rode away.

He later sold the hot property to another man for the princely sum of $300. Police spotted their comrade’s bike with this man on Wednesday, who tipped them off about the original thief, who was also arrested. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
