Thief picked the wrong market to mess with

A Pursat pickpocket might think twice before attempting a nimble-fingered theft again.

The 32-year-old woman was beaten by market-goers in town on Saturday after lifting a wad of cash from a shopper’s pocket while she perused the stalls.

Security guards restrained the thief and vendors and shoppers jumped in, injuring the woman. She was sent to hospital by police before questioning. Deum Ampil
