One of a pair of thieves was apprehended for jacking a mobile phone from a student in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district on Tuesday.
The student, 14, was on the phone while taking a motodup home, when two suspects rolled up and grabbed it.
The victim shouted and patrolling cops chased the suspects. Due to traffic, the crooks ditched their bike and ran.
Police caught one, 31, while the other got away with the phone. The suspect was sent to court, and the bike seized.
