Thieves drawn to pricey moto like moths to flame

A university student wisely decided his pumped-up ride couldn’t outrun a bullet on Monday.

The student went out to drink and sing karaoke with four friends in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district.

En route home, the KTM Duke motorcycle-riding student found himself followed by two men.

One of the men pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot if the student didn’t hand over the $4,000 set of wheels. Police have yet to find the suspects or the hot rod. KOH SANTEPHEAP
