Thieves go shopping for woman’s necklace

A young girl was left in tears in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Saturday when a pair of snatch-and-grab thieves picked her as a target.

In the throngs of the market crowd, the suspects saw their chance and snatched the girl’s necklace, police said.

Market security soon detained the suspects after the victim cried out for help. After confessing, the suspects were handed over to the police to be sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
