Thieves spot diamond in the rough, face jail

Diamonds turned into two Phnom Penh women’s worst enemies this week as an attempted jewellery grab landed them in cuffs.

According to police, the two suspects were riding on a moto when they spotted an unsuspecting women working out in the park with an unusual exercise accessory: a sparkly necklace.

The pair grabbed the chain and sped off, but by the time they got home, police were hot on their heels. The necklace nabbers are now headed for the court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
