Thieving guard trades security for prison

A poorly paid company man is a disloyal one, a Phnom Penh construction company discovered earlier this week.

According to police, on Wednesday a security guard colluded with four thieves to steal a generator and other materials from the company.

Employees at the company caught wind of the heist and called police. The four burglars escaped, leaving their accomplice behind. The 29-year-old guard confessed that he committed the crime because he was paid poorly. Nokorwat
