Thirsty assailants slip up, stab police officer

A moto thief in Kandal province will be wishing he’d listened to his mother’s warnings about crime’s slippery slope.

This suspect slipped up badly when on Tuesday night he stabbed a police officer in the back as the officer was buying ice from a local store.

Two men took a blade to the officer’s back and stole his moto, but police could only catch one of the suspects. The arrested man was sent to be charged at the provincial court. DEUM AMPIL
