Thuggish husband hits wife at beer garden

Exasperation turned to hospitalisation for a Kampong Chhnang woman fed up with her loutish husband’s drinking on Wednesday.

Police said the woman had gone to ask her husband – who was out drinking – to come home, but he refused. Incensed, the woman tried to pour a jug of beer down his throat.

The soused spouse flew off the handle, knocking her out. The wife was taken to hospital, and the husband was arrested. Rasmey Kampuchea
