Tiff over turf leads to a motodop eating some

A war over turf resulted in a motodop being beaten by a group of his own in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town this week.

Police said the victim, a 28-year-old construction worker who moonlights as a motodop, raised the ire of fellow two-wheel taxi drivers for picking up customers on their patch.

When confronted, the victim said the turf wasn’t for their exclusive use. This courageous approach resulted in him being severely beaten. The suspects then fled the scene. Kampuchea Thmey
