Military Police took down the ringleader of an illegal logging operation by arresting the 62-year-old yesterday in Battambang province’s Samlot district.

Thai authorities sent the tipoff after arresting 18 lumberjacks in the neighbouring kingdom, so Cambodian cops swarmed the sexagenarian’s house on Sunday.

Noting that his days of rounding up rosewood were over, police set him up with a date to meet the provincial judge.
