Tiny tot survives topple after head-on crash

A five-year-old was miraculously unharmed on Sunday night after his allegedly drunken father crashed his moto with the child on board.

Police said the dad, 30, was returning from a wedding in Kampong Speu with his son riding behind him.

As they reached the capital’s Por Sen Chey district, he swerved to avoid a pothole, careening headlong into an oncoming vehicle.

When police arrived, they found the young boy, uninjured, crying next to his unconscious father, who was sent to hospital with head and arm injuries. KOH SANTEPHEAP
