Tip-off thwarts teen girls’ planned gang fight

A distaff teenage rumble was literally over before it started on Tuesday after police were tipped off to the planned throwdown.

Authorities in Koh Kong said a group of six female students, aged 15 to 16, had set a date to square off in the province’s Khemarak Phumin district.

When word slipped out, however, they arrived to find police waiting for them. Each dutifully thumb-printed a doc pledging to forgo future fisticuffs. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
