Too-slow trio fail to bag purse vendor’s phone

Three women were arrested in Kratie town on Friday for stealing an iPhone 5 from a bag-seller in Central Market.

The suspects allegedly feigned interest in buying a bag and swooped in on the victim’s device while she was assisting other customers.

The thieves attempted a quick getaway but were intercepted when police responded to the woman’s cries, arresting the suspects who were later sent to court.
