Tourists get unwelcome insight into road safety

A truck overturned and hit a tourist van in Kandal province’s Khsach Kandal district on Saturday morning, causing two serious and three slight injuries to the tourists.

Police said the truck got a flat tire, causing it to turn over and hit the passenger vehicle with 12 people inside.

The victims were hospitalised, and police impounded both the truck and the car as they consider what further legal steps to take.
