A Kandal woman freshly arrived in the capital from her home in Kandal province had her motorbike snatched 15 minutes after parking it in front of her rented accommodation in Russey Keo district.

The 28-year-old grocery seller told police she double-checked the bike’s lock before leaving it on the street, but came back outside shortly after to find it gone.

Despite shouting for her neighbours’ assistance, the bike failed to materialise.
